Support a scientific meeting as an acknowledged partner. Support is separated from the scientific programme, which is developed independently by the EMANT Scientific Committee.

Endorsement

Request EMANT endorsement of an educational activity, against published criteria.

Partners are acknowledged, never promoted. No product names and no product claims appear anywhere on this site. Industry-funded activities carry a visible funding disclosure and a statement that the scientific programme is developed independently by the EMANT Scientific Committee. Faculty conflict of interest declarations are published alongside congress programmes.

Endorsement

Endorsement policy and terms

EMANT endorsement signals that an activity meets the society's standards for scientific independence.

1. General information

EMANT (Emirates Medical Association — Nephrology and Transplantation Society) is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, scientific credibility, and professional ethics. To protect the value of the EMANT name and logo, the Society has established clear criteria and procedures for endorsing meetings, educational activities, and related initiatives.

EMANT endorsement is considered only for activities that support the EMANT mission, advance nephrology and transplantation practice, education, and research, and comply with the standards in this policy. EMANT does not endorse organizations as a whole: endorsement is limited to specific activities that meet these requirements.

2. Definition of endorsement

"Endorsement" means the authorized use of the EMANT name and/or logo by a third party in connection with a meeting, course, symposium, or educational activity formally reviewed and approved by EMANT. Endorsement signifies EMANT's support for the scientific goals of the activity. It does not imply financial support, co-ownership, or CME accreditation unless specifically stated.

3. Endorsement procedure

A formal written request must be submitted ahead of the activity, including:

  • A completed application
  • Draft agenda
  • Faculty list with conflict-of-interest disclosures
  • CME or accreditation details where relevant
  • A list of any sponsors or co-endorsers

EMANT reviews the request against its mission, conflict-of-interest standards, and scientific-integrity requirements. Applicants are notified in writing; if approved, an Endorsement Letter sets out the permitted use of the EMANT name and logo.

4. Requirements for endorsed activities

Endorsed activities must:

  • Align with the EMANT mission
  • Be free of commercial bias and independent of industry influence
  • Require faculty to disclose relevant financial relationships
  • Present content that is scientific, evidence-based, and objective

EMANT reserves the right to review promotional materials and requires a short post-event summary. EMANT will not endorse:

  • Activities already executed
  • Programmes inconsistent with scientific and ethical standards
  • Events that are primarily commercial marketing platforms

5. Terms and conditions

Endorsement is one-time use only unless separately approved for recurring activities. Material changes to a programme after endorsement must be reported and may trigger re-review or withdrawal. EMANT may withdraw endorsement at any time if standards are no longer met, and assumes no legal, financial, or organizational responsibility for the endorsed activity. The EMANT name and logo may only be used with prior written approval. Misuse may result in immediate revocation and possible legal action under applicable UAE law.

6. Approval acknowledgements

If approved, the requestor may state "Endorsed by the Emirates Medical Association — Nephrology and Transplantation Society (EMANT)" in materials, and use the EMANT logo subject to written approval. Listing on the EMANT site is at EMANT's discretion.
